The service consists in recovering the geometry and treating the surface with either <strong>KERBLACK<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>, <strong>WOLSIDE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0or <strong>COLDSIDE<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We apply <strong>KERBLACK<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 our special ceramic-based coating \u2013 on the climb-up zone, where strain and wearing are heavier because of wire skidding. <strong>KERBLACK<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0is particularly suitable for dry wire-drawing processes aimed at the production of high, medium and low carbon steel, stainless steel, etc. Generally, during this service, we also clean the drum internally with the purpose of removing any limestone deposit, which could prevent the efficient cooling of the parts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The service is completed by the application of a product<\/strong> that slows down the re-building of limestone deposits. We can also work on other areas of the drum that may need reparation. Once the renovation process is completed, the capstan is much more functional than a new non-coated one and gives the user excellent results in terms of life and wire quality. <strong>The renovation of capstans is always economically efficient<\/strong>. A lot of customers all over the world regularly use our renovation service for their drums, capstans, cones and pulleys.
