Coldside®

COLSIDE® is a top quality super-compact hard metal (HIP) coating, based on tungsten carbides and other special minerals. It is particularly suitable for the coating of mechanical parts used in the drawing industry of ferrous and non-ferrous metal wires. This material is characterised by high resistance to seizing and wire skidding. COLDSIDE® is particularly suitable for corrugated wire.

Specific advantages of COLDSIDE® coating:

  • COLDSIDE® is a special tungsten carbide coating that can be applied also on already finished parts.

  • Practically negligible wear of the part.
  • High impact resistance during the use.
  • Considerable increase of speed and output of the machines, while maintaining the high quality of the end product.
